        摘要：The energy of slow positrons has been measured with a plane retarding grid energy analyser and a channel electron multiplier. It is found that the energy peak of slow positrons emitted from a tungsten foil after annealed at 2200℃ for 15 minutes is 1.7eV and energy spread （FWHM） is less than 1.5eV.

        摘要：A thick-target technique is used in the measurement of cross sections of nuclear reactions. To obtain the equivalent thin target spectrum the thick target spectra should be unfolded. By this method the counting rate is increased and the statistical error is decreased greatly.

        摘要：The homogeneity of 25MeV/u 40 Ar 14 ion beam （40mm） was measured with 50μm polycarbonate films by means of nuclear track detection. It was 32.7% for the case of defocus and 52.4% for “defocus+sample rotation”. A simulation test of beam shaping for heavy-ion cancer therapy was carried out with an assembly of multilayer polycarbonate films as the tumour equivalent material. The Bragg-peak was moved at nine locations through energy degradation of the heavy ions. The beam cross sections at each Bragg-peak location were defined by different apertures. Thus, an ellipsoid like tumour was formed from the cross-sections of different layers. A light-ball similar to the ellipsoid tumour was obtained by means of transmission and diffraction of a light column passing through ion track pores in the irradiated polycarbonate films after chemical etching. The sphere of the light-ball corresponded to the space effected by Bragg-peaks where the energy loss of heavy ions was concentrated.

        摘要：The surface structure of triuranium octaoxide（U 3O 8） and the influence of carbon monoxide on the surface layer of U 3O 8 have been studied by X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy（XPS）. As a mixed-valence compound, U 3O 8 was found to have a surface structure compatible with the general formula U 2 Ⅵ U n-2 Ⅳ O 2n+2 . After exposure of U 3O 8 to 7.2×10 6 L CO,the content of oxygen in the oxide decreased and O/U ratio decreased by 8.0%, and amount of uranium trioxide in U 3O 8 was decreased by 16.6%. The investigation indicated that the surface of triuranium octaoxide was reduced to some extent in the atmosphere of carbon monoxide.

        摘要：After many tests the 911A hollow cathode ion source was redesigned and rebuilt. Now it is much easier to maintain than the oriaginal model. For gaseous materials the maximum beam current can reach to the order of 10 -5 A, while for solid matters to the order of 10 -6 A. The beam current is fairly stable and able to last for about five hours.

        摘要：A new type of nuclear density gauge controlled by micro-computer was presented. A series of new techniques, such as non-linear fitting of density, automatic compensations for the deviations due to the decay of the radioactive source and the medium′s temperature, etc., were employed. Comparing with old types, this gauge has such advantages as high precision, simple operation and automatic calibration. It can be widely used in on-line density measurement various fluids passing through pipe lines.

        摘要：Chloramine-T was used for 125 I labelling of insulin,bovine serum albumin and pig superoxide dismutase.The labelling rates were measured by four methods,i.e.comparing the counts from the labelled compound with those from the eluate,TCA precipitation,paper chromatograph and paper electrophoresis.It was shown that the labelling rate obtained with the first method was the lowest but those with other three methods weres imilar.Especially the TCA precipitation was considered to be the best because of its easiness and rapidit.In addition,the deiodated rates of the labelled compounds in various conditions were measured by TCA precipitation,and the lowest deiodated rate was observed for the products with some protein protection and stored at the temperature lower than -20℃ or as a lophilized state.

        摘要：By use of golden staphylococci and bacillus subtilis as reference′s sterilizing species, the radiation sterilization of chitosan membrane and the radiation-induced changes in certain properties have been studied under air and N 2 atmospheres. The G（S） values are found to be 1.63 and 0.718 in air and N 2, respectively.

        摘要：Recently,the long period X-ray standing wave method has been developed as astructure probe for atom layers in thin solid or liquid films.Formation and characteristics of the long period X-ray standing wave field are described and the physical model is demonstrated for its applications.With the advanced synchrotron radiation source,this method reaches a detection range of ～100nm,a space resolution of～0.1nm and a sensitivity of ～10 12 atom/cm 2,and shows itself as a new ypowerful tool for investigating membrane-protein and charged surface-solution interactions and structure characterizations.

        摘要：The surface structure and tribological properties of α-Al 2O 3 implanted with N + ions have been investigated by XPS, X-ray diffraction, Raman shift, SEM, DFPM and scratch testers. It is shown that lubrication of the implanted Al 2O 3 is greatly improved because a strong contaminated carbon film is formed on the Al 2O 3 surface and the surface hardness is increased in implanting process. The surface compressive stress due to the implantation can also make the surface fractures short and round, thus enhancing wear resistance of Al 2O 3.
