        摘要：Some preliminary applications of the new nuclear microprobe in SINR are described, such as determination of elemental concentration and distribution of Zn in an amoeba cell and observation of the effect of Zn on the cell growth, analysis of some micron sized mineral grains and mineral phases in manganese sulphide ores, investigation of the layered structure of deep- sea manganese nodules, and studies of effects of anti- nodular elements on the formation of nodular cast iron and effects of micro- element distribution on strength of stainless steel parts.

        摘要：A light particle detection unit for the large spherical scattering chamber of HIRFL using plastic wall of 100×5×1cm3 and 100×10×1cm3 Pilot U plastic scintillators is described. Each module provided information on particle impact position, time of flight, and atomic number Z, which was studied on line with heavy-ion beam. The resolutions of position and time are 3cm and 600 ps respectively, but the charge identification is poor. The effective speed of light ceff in 100×5×1cm3 Pilot U is 16.37cm/ns and the length of light attenuation λeff is 92.4 cm.

        摘要：This paper described a detailed study on positron annihilation spectra of LiF（F2+） and LiF:（OH）-（F2+） color center crystals kept at RT for different time after electron-beam irradiation at L.N.T.. It is found that the relative intensity of 1st and 2nd components （I1 and I2） of the lifetime spectra and S parameter of the Doppler broadened spectra varied regularly with the decrease of F2+ center concentration and the variation had a certain relation with the irradiation dose.

        摘要：A new method for measuring moisture in pottery materials using a thermal neutron transmission gauge is reported. The moisture response of the white mud from Yixing Jiangsu has been calculated theoretically. The Yixing white mud from Jiangsu, the Jiepai Maji mud from Hunan, and the Zimujie soil from Shanxi are calibrated experimentally. The calibration curves all follow a linear law of In （1/T） against m. The precision of the moisture measurement is ±0.40wt%, ±0.42wt% and ±0.65wt% respectively.

        摘要：Theγ-irradiation stability of polycrystalline glycine （Gly） has been studied by 13C CPMAS, ESR and X-ray diffraction. The 13C chemical shifts and X-ray diffraction data show no change up to 140 kGy dose. Which shows that Gly is stable at this desage. However, the linewidth of I3C resonances increases linearly with the irradiation dose.

        摘要：Many trace elements exist in graphite of nodular cast iron. The contents and distributions of trace elements effect directly on nodularization as well as mechanic and machinery properties. The distributions of trace elements in nodular graphite have been measured using SPM. The results showed that most of Cu and Cr were distributed in matrix, and some of Cu intruded into nodular graphite as antinodu-larizing element Bi was increased.

        摘要：A method of determination of trace Sm, Eu, Gd and Dy in LiOH and LiF by IDMS is described. Sm, Eu, Gd and Dy are separated from other rare earth elements by P507 extractant containing resin. 147Sm, 151Eu, 160Gd and 160Dy are used as spikes. The ratios of 147Sm/149Sm, 151Eu/153Eu, 174[GdO]/176[GdO] and 160Dy/162Dy are measured by a mass spectrometer. Precisions of the method for Sm, Eu, Gd and Dy are ±10%, ± 5.9%,± 9.7% and ±5.6% in samples containing 0.00820 μg/g Sm, 0.00373 μg/g Eu, 0.00569 μg/g Gd and 0.103 μg/g Dy respectively.A Model ZHT-05A single focusing mass spectrometer is used. Simultaneous determination of the four elements on the same filament is performed. The interoverlaping correlation of 176[GdO]+ with 176[DyO]+ is discussed.

        摘要：The contents of calcium and trace elements in hair of 4127 inhabitants in Shanghai and Suzhou areas have been determined by using XRF. It was found that the levels of Sr, Mn and Ca in hair of female were significantly higher than those of male （p<0.01） and the Pb level of female was significantly lower than that of male （p<0.01） regardless of sampling areas and ages. From a comparison of the elemental levels under various physiological conditions it was supposed that there may exist some unique sex- related difference in the metabolic process of these elements.

        摘要：The contents of elements K, Mn, Fe, Cu, Zn, Pb, Rb and Sr have been determined by PIXE in homogenate, mitochondria, lysosomes and microsomes of liver, brain, kidney and lung tissues of 6 spontaneous abortion fetus （5-6 months, male）. The elemental distributions in different organs and in subcellular fractions of the organs were obtained. By comparing with the data of adult liver, it was found that the essential element contents in fetus liver were significantly higher and the subcellula-distribution models were different. These results suggest that the essentialelements in subcellular fractions may play an important role on cell development.
