This paper reported the postoperative effectiveness of 39 patients with cardiac valvular replacement. Using radionuclide angiocardiography

the cardiac-pulmonary blood flow . left and right ventricular functions were compared between 39 cardiac patients and 21 normal cases. Above parameters decreased in various magnitude in patient group. After valvular replacement

it was found that the cardiac - pulmonary blood flow has improved in the early stage （within 180 days） while the ventricular function would gradually improved nearly half a year after operation. It was also demonstrated that significantly decreased ejection fraction before operation usually correlated with worse therapeutic effect. Therefore

it was suggested that the valvular replacement should be taken as early as possible in cases of somewhat lowered EF value in order to get better result.
