The callback task in EPICS realizes asynchronous process in network transferring and device driver.In the asynchronous processing

only the data changed by device driver are collected

and transferred on the network.It alleviates the burden of both networks and the CPU load of IOC.In this paper

we analyze the callback task in EPICS

and introduce how to set up an ADC system with interrupt and callback.
