摘要

用仪器中子活化分析测定了南极中国长城站附近的费尔德斯半岛第三纪火山熔岩的微量元素含量。稀土元素的分配型式为轻稀土富集型

（La/Yb）

值分布于2.42—4.57

无明显的Eu异常。与典型的大洋中脊玄武岩比较

以低Ti、Zr、Ni、Cr、Co含量和高的Cs

Rb、Sr、Ba、Th、Ta丰度为特征。微量元素地球化学特征表明它们介于岛弧拉斑玄武岩和钙碱性玄武岩之间

推测费尔德斯玄武岩可能是岛弧火山活动的产物。

Abstract

The "Fildes Peninsula group" tertiary volcanic rocks analysed were outcropped near the Chinese Great Wall Antarctic Station. The trace element compositions of the rocks were determined by instrumental neutron activation analysis. The basalts from Fildes Peninsula are characterized by their lower contents of Ti

Co and Cr and higher of Cs

Th and Ta in comparison with N-type mid-ocean ridge basalts （N-MORB）. They have extremely similar REE distribution patterns of rich LREE and no Eu anomalies.（La/Yb）CN ratios vary from 2.42 to 4.57. All these characteristics show that the basalts from Fildes Peninsula can be considered as the products of island arc volcanism.
