A combinatory field achromatic 270°deflection system is described.A uniform field is combined with a nonuniform one in a symmetric magnet. Design of the system is based on the achromatic relation derived with the matrix method. Electron beam at the output is small in spot and symmetric with respect both to envelope and to divergent angle

indicating that the system possesses excellent achromatic and focusing properties.
