Abstract

Fast neutrons produced in 44GeV 12C+Cu interactions have been measured and analysed with nuclear emulsion. The neutron spectra were obtained by measuring the recoil protons in emulsion and the track parameters of a particles from interactions of 12C（n

n’）3 α in emulsion.The experimental neutron spectrum was compared with those by Monte-Carlo calculations.
