Left ventricular（LV） and right ventricular（RV） function were determined using radionuclide ventriculography in 50 patients with hyperthyroidism. LVEF

SV of the hyperthyroidism group were decreased in comparison with the normal group （P<0.01）

whereas CO of the hyperthyroidism patients were higher than that of normal （P<0.01）. Except LVPER

the LVEF

SV had significant difference between two groups. Compared to normal group

RVPFR were also decreased（P<0.01）. Besides 30 cases of the hyperthyroidism were examined by impedancecardiogram（ICG） and impedance pulmonary rheogram（IPR）

all showed closely correlation with the parameters determined by ventyiculography. There was the involvment of right ventricular function insufficiency

especially in ejection phase.When compared with pre-therapy and pos-therapy cases showed significant improvement in EF

PFR of left and right ventriculars.
