Thirty-three cases of senile Parkinson’s disease(PD) imaged by 99mTc-HM-PAO brain SPECT were reported. 66.7% of the patients had conical hypoperfusion and 18.2% showed asymmetrical hypoperfusion in the hasal ganglia. Such a finding was not related with the Hoehn-Yahr stage and the laterality of motor symtoms. If complicated with dementia
the SPECT brain adaging showed similar pattern inAlzheimer’s disease with diffuse hypoperfusion in conical area reflecting widespread pathological changes in tremor paralyses.
