The concentration of 8 elements in subcellular fractions of normal human liver has been determined by a combination of differential centrifugation and neutron activation analysis. The collection of samples and the determination of trace elements were described in detail. Two biological standard reference materials were used for evaluating accuracy of the INAA method. Trace element contents and their distribution in 5 subcellular fractions of human liver have been investigated.
