本文简要叙述NEWOPTIC的功能

具体介绍它在加速器质谱计（AMS）研制中的应用

同时涉及使用该程序的一些技巧和经验。

Abstract

NEWOPTIC is a universal beam optics program running on personal computers. Its basic functions are described and its application in AMS is introduced. Some tricks and experiences about using this program are also involved.
