brown paper and writing paper were irradiated by electron beam with different doses. Some physical properties were measured. When irradiated by 20-30 kGy
less than 25% of changes occurred on base weight
brightness
tear resistance
tensile strength and folding endurance for duplicating paper
showing that the paper kept at B level after the irradiation. The results are analyzed
and the mechanism of radiation effects is discussed.
