This paper has presented a themoluminescence detection used in prospecting sandstone-type uranium deposits. A comparative study of the airborne γ-ray spectrometric survey and the thermoluminescence detection was carried out in a known area and an unknown area
It is found that the TL detection
used as a complemental measure in uranium exploration
is simple and easy to handle. When used in radioactive exploration in large overlaying areas
the technique can achieve a goal of "removing overlay and into depth"
and post directly how the radioactive elements gathered and scattered in depth
