The natural thermoluminescence (TL) and annual dose of a sample are two important parameters in the TL dating. They represent radioactive radiation level of surroundings around the sample. Experimental data show that radiation level of surroundings depends on the control influence of lithology. After a long time reconstruction
the radiation level of the earth surface surroundings will be diminished gradually and become homogeneous.
