A variety of magnetic cores were examined. It shows that the super microcrystalline iron core with high Br/Bs is more suitable to make a zero-flux sensor head
as high sensibility and great stability can be achieved for the zero-flux sensor made with this magnetic material. In addition
the ferrite core with high permeability seems to be another acceptable material to make a zero-flux sensor head.
