The paper has presented a nondestructive analysis technique for the isotopic composition of uranium in the high radioactivity wastebins. A three-dimensional rotary sample holder was designed and made. A series of samples with total uranium quantity from 2g to 600g was measured by a coaxial HPGe detector
and gamma-rays from uranium isotopes in 120—1001keV were analyzed by PC/FRAM program. This technique provides an uncertainty of less than 0.6% for 235U in 20%—93% and that of less than 1.3% for 238U.
