The energy responses of the native thermoluminescent dosimeter of LiF (Mg
Ti) and CaSO
4
(Tm) in glass tube to 5.8—58.5keV photons are given and the low energy compensation of the thermoluminescent dosimeter of CaSO
4
(Tm) in glass tube are discussed. Our experiment conditions for best energy compensation is composed of a 0.1mm thick copper and a 0.3mm thick tin with
φ
0.7mm apertures with total area occupies 10% of the surface. In this situation the energy responses for 12.2—58.5keV photons relative to
137
Cs γ-rays are 1.00±0.48.
