Abstract

The I

and IO

ions were seperated by ascending paper chromatograpnic method. The performances of five mixture with different ratio of DMF and 0.1 mol/1 NaOH were comparedas developing agents. The results showed that I

and IO

could be separated most effectively by using 1:1 mixture of DMF and 0.1 mol/1. It is recommended as a method for the determination of radiochemical purity of radioactive NaI(I-123

I-125

I-131)by its good reproducibility and efficiency.
