Liquid scintillation measurement can be used for clinical rapid diagnosis of bacteruria with characteristics such as rapidity

sensitivity

constancy

objectivity and continuity.

The conditions of liquid scintillation measurement of bacteruria were explored in this study. The structure of the liquid scintillation apparatus was modified and a new device

single-compartment spirochete paper was made. Efficiency of the new device is higher than conventional two-compartment scintillation vial and the cost is lower than later. Clinical application has shown that it is very useful.

When GI (growth index) 3 is considered as a positive results with the conditions supplied by us the measurement can be completed within 3—6h. Through the data processing it has shown that the GI is related to the bacterial replication times and follows a first-order differential equation within a given species.

For the convenient calculation all their mathematical models can be described by a cubic expression.
