摘要

随着加速器技术的发展以及高分辨、高效率半导体探测器的不断提高，在束γ谱学越来越受到人们的重视，因为它是研究原子核高自旋态的有力工具，可以为研究核结构提供更丰富的信息。在一定入射能量的核反应过程中，往往可以同时打开几个反应道，用Ge（Li）探测器进行在束测量时，就会记录到许多γ射线，使在束γ谱变得相当复杂，在这样测得的γ谱中，还附加了许多本底γ峰，它们主要来自Ge（Li）探测器中的非弹性中子散射和中子核反应所产生的γ射线

，此外，还有探测器周围物质（如铝、铁、锌）的非弹性中子散射后的γ射线

。当然，入射粒子与周围环境物质（如束流管道、光阑、准直器和束流收集器等）的核反应所发射的γ射线也是一个重要的本底源。这些本底峰的出现，增加了在束γ谱的复杂性，给核素鉴别带来了麻烦，甚至会误认一些假峰。因此，对于一定实验条件下的本底状况作精细的测量是十分必要的。我们为了在回旋加速器上用α粒子开展在束γ谱学方面的研究工作

Abstract

A spectrum of gamma background has been investigated when in-beam measurement was performed with α-particles from the 1.2m cyclotron. Prominent peaks in the spectrum have been identified. These peaks result from inelastic neutron excitation of germanium isotopes in Ge (Li) detector and neutron reactions on these isotopes

as well as from reactions of incident α-particles in slit

collimator and beam collector. Method reducing the background has been discussed.
