The process prepared by us for producing low-molecular weight PTFE fine powder is characterized by that the suspended PTFE is radiation-degraded with an electron accelerator. The average particle of radiation degraded product may be less than 5µm in diameter with its molecular weight below 30000 and the melting point above 300℃.
