        摘要：The influence of electron beams on heat dissipation in an electron linac has been studied. The temperature responses for different electron beams in the linac are calculated.The suitable moment for inputting electron beam after the start of the linac is given. These results may provide a reference to the design and operation of a linac.

        摘要：The textual work is to design, and test a time zero device with domestic micrcchannel plates in which the signal is gained. An optimal overall time resolution of 183ps（FWHM） is obtained for a ThC’ α-particle source. The relationship between cetection efficiency of the time zero detector and other variable is discussed in. detail.

        摘要：For the gas system of shower counter used in Beijing Spectrometer（BES）, the principles of design, the selection of suitable materials, and the influence of undesirable impurities in gas on the detector are discussed.         摘要：Trace elements Fe, Zn and Ca in hair samples taken from four athletes have been de-termined by using SR X-ray fluorescence analysis technique. Each sample is scanned point by point at 1.5mm of interval, which corresponds to 5 days of hair growth. Preliminary results show that the change of iron content in hair is related to exercise capacity of athletes, but no observable change is found for Zn and Ca content. It is verified that sport is one of the causes leading to iron deficiency of athletes.

        摘要：A tiny Lanzhou crystal ball consists of 14 hexagonal prism BGO detector units. The assembly technique and performance of the BGO units are presented. Responses of the ball for sum energy and multiplicity of cascade γ-rays have been simulated by the coincidence of two cascade γ rays of a 60Co source and the multi-parameter acquisition technique.

        摘要：Attempt was made to determine progesterone in hair using competitive protein-binding assay for pregnancy diagnosis of dairy cows. The average accuracy of pregnancy diagnosis in 475 cows was 86.2% for pregnant cows and 96.69% for non-pregnant cows repectively when hair samples were taken on the 24th day after artificial insemination and clipped at the udder of the animals.
