Preparation of phosphoryl-functionalized cycas leaves fiber adsorbent and performance in uranium extraction from seawater
“The uranium reserves in seawater are about 4.5 billion tons, but extraction is difficult. Experts used iron leaf fibers as raw materials and chemically modified them with phosphate to prepare an efficient adsorbent for adsorbing seawater uranium. The adsorbent can achieve an equilibrium adsorption capacity of 1218.05 mg · g-1 at the optimal pH 5, and has good cycling performance and anti-interference ability, providing a new solution for uranium extraction from seawater.”
