ASIC design for low noise preamplifier of coaxial high purity germanium detector
“In the field of nuclear radiation detection, researchers have designed a multi-channel low-temperature low-noise charge sensitive preamplifier specifically designed for coaxial high-purity germanium detectors with 20 pF capacitors. The circuit operates stably within a wide temperature range of -196~55 ℃, with an energy resolution of up to 0.67 ‰. It has an output conversion gain of 5 mV ∙ fC-1, a nonlinearity of 0.15%, and a low static power consumption of 7.92 mW per channel. The obtained performance is sufficient for gamma ray spectroscopy and pulse shape analysis of coaxial high-purity germanium detectors.”
