Study of fragmentation dynamics for CO2q+ (q≤4) in strong laser fields
“New progress has been made in the study of molecular fragmentation dynamics in fields such as physics, chemistry, and biology. Using strong femtosecond laser pulses to induce the dissociation of CO2 molecules, and measuring the momentum information of ion fragments through a cold target recoil ion momentum spectrometer. The experiment observed four two body dissociation channels of CO2q+(q=2-4), revealing that the dynamic collimation mechanism dominates in all two body fragmentation channels.”
