A random signal emulator for silicon drift detector based FPGA
“In the field of detector signal simulation, researchers have designed a silicon drift detector signal simulator, which uses FPGA as the core device and utilizes its programmable logic resources to generate oscillation loops and uniformly distributed true random numbers. Converted into an exponential distribution pulse sequence through Bernoulli test, and tested for randomness by NIST, the output pulse time interval, count rate, voltage, and minimum time interval all meet the requirements and can work stably for a long time.”
