    • Effects of solid solution elements on microstructures and radiation resistance of binary nickel based alloys

    • “In the field of materials science, researchers irradiated Ni, Ni Cr, and Ni Mo alloys with 2 MeV Ne ions to investigate the effect of solid solution elements on the irradiation properties of binary nickel based alloys. Research has found that ion irradiation causes alloy hardening, and Ni Mo alloy has better radiation resistance than Ni Cr alloy, while Ni alloy continues to harden with increasing radiation dose.”
