48 and 72 hours by the radioactive tracer technique. About 99.6% of the administered chromium was excreted in feces showing that the absorption of 51Cr was less than 1%. The absorbed chromium was accumulated in many organs
in an order of liver>muscle>pancreas>bone>kidney. The fact that the specific activity in pancreas was the highest of all the studied organs indicated that pancreas might be a sensitive organ to 51Cr3+ in the body. The data of 51Cr3+ in blood was proved to fit the three compartments model
suggesting that there were two chromium clearance models in the body-one was quick and the other was slow or stable.
