An investigation on the decay of 147Nd has been carried out by a HPGe γ ray spectrometer and a Ge（Li） and NaI（Tl） γ-γ coincidence spectrometer. New levels 730.7 keV and 859.2keV of 147Pm are found. Existence of the 641keV level and the 231keV γ transition in 147Pm is proved. No evidence can be found for the 807 keV level and the 716 keV γ ray. Energy spectra of 147Pm is studied by the angular momentum projection method and the calculated results are compared with experimental data.
