Abstract

The polymer degradation induced by X-ray

neutron

electron beam and γ ray radiation was reviewed. Several factors affecting the degradation were discussed. Two methods for accelerating radiation aging were expounded. Difficulties were faced in the research of polymer degradation and their development prospects were also discussed.
