Abstract

In this paper

efficiency function of an area source of HPGe γdetector is investigated

and the method of determining parameters of the function by standard volume sources and GA(Genetic Algorithms) is established. As an application

double-layer samples of 226Ra、232Th and 40K in given cincents were analyzed. The results agree well with the established values. The method can be used for nondestructive analysis of samples with one-dimensional nonuniform distribution of radio nuclides.
