we give a review on radiation degradation of dyes wastewater.The mechanisms

influencing factors and engineering applications are described in detail.Irradiated dye solution products ?OH

eaq– and H? which have very high activity to react with dye molecules

making "-N=N-" and "-C=C-" brand fractured.?OH is a strong oxidant and can oxidize dye molecules.eaq– is a very strong reducing agent and effective decolorant

but it is less active in further degradation of the products formed.Among the influential factors of the radiation dose

the ultimate degradation of dye wastewater mainly depends on structure of dye molecules and radiation dose

adding H2O2 to dye wastewater appropriately play a synergistic effect on the degradation.
