Lyoluminescence (LL) is a useful technique for γ-ray dosimetry. It is recommended by IAEA for γ-ray high dose measurement on the irradiation process. Lyoluminescence dosimetry deals with the measurement of light emitted when a previously irradiated material (glutamine) is dissolved in a solvent. Investigation on the dependence of LL respone on quantity of glutamine and on volume of the solvent has been reported. The effect of temperature
oxidation and storage time on the lyoluminescence yield has been measured.
