从青海贵南县齐家文化遗址出土的青铜镜迄今已有近四千年的历史，其间有汉代的中兴、唐代的盛行，直到清代中叶平面玻璃盛行时才开始衰落。它是研究我国古代冶金铸造方面极为重要的考古资料。
