The measurements of copper content in powder sample and on the wall of mine tunnel by the radioisotope X-ray fluorescence analyzer are described. The measurement of copper content in powder sample is mainly used as a grade monitor
its qualified rate has reached 95%. The copper content determined by fluorescence analysis on the wall of mine tunnel (1.738%) is more close to the true value (1.64%) than the one-obtained from cut trough sampling.
