Abstract

A sealed ceramic neutron tube developed over the past years is reported. The tube made of sealed ceramic to provide high-voltage insulation and solid drive-in target to extend the lifetime. The neutron yield is better than 10

using the D-T reaction and 10

using the D-D reaction. Tne tube has been operated for more than 500h.
