Retention and transference of enriched uranium UO2F2 administered once or consecutively and its mutagenic effect on bone marrow cells
were observed after iv once 20 mg/kg and ip 15 mg/kg qd×3d to Wistar male rats. The dynamic retention of radioactivity in the body showed that enriched uranium UO

was chiefly localized in kidney
and then in skeleton and liver. The activity of enriched uranium UO

in skeleton rose steadily while the concentration in kidney and liver droped. It was concluded that the retention peculiarity of enriched uranium was equal to that of natural uranium.
When enriched uranium UO

was accumulated in organism
it caused chromosome aberration on bone marrow cells. Results indicated that the chromosome aberration rates were elevated when the dose of enriched uranium UO
