A transistorized phase-shifting frequency multiplier used in a nanosecond pulsing system for 2.5MeV proton Van de Graaff accelerator
A transistorized phase-shifting frequency multiplier and its excellent amplitude-phase and phase-amplitude properties are presented. It is used in the synchronous sweep portion of a nanosecond pulsing system for a 2.5MeV proton Van de Graaff accelerator. By adjusting the amplitude and phase of the output voltage. The deflecting angles and sweeping symmetry along the central track of ion bursts can be effectively controled with frequency of 2 MHz and duration of 10ns.
