This article presents a detail description of the ionization chambers using some thin materials as the walls and windows. These ionization chambers comprise two types: one is cylinder-shaped and the other is ball-shaped. They can be used to measure the dose-rate of soft X-ray (>5keV). Through experiments we have obtained angle and energy response and other properties. These properties showed that these two types of ionization chambers are better than those used in measuring the dose-rate of soft X-ray at home and abroad.
