摘要

对中国不同产地水晶γ射线辐照变色试验表明，辐照能使天然无色水晶变为茶色或墨色水晶，而不会改变其晶体结构和化学成份，不产生感生放射性，具有较好的变色稳定性。

Abstract

This paper is a brief summary of the coloration of quartz samples from different places of China by

Co-γ irradiation. The test was carried out in recent 3 years. The results show that after radiation

natural colorless quartz may convert its color to smoky even to black without any change of its crystal structure as well as its chemical composition. The coloration is quite stable under ordinary condition without any induced radioactivity.
