This paper introduces a kind of microcomputer-based intelligent counting system andits supervision program. It adopts the transmision mode of software and hardware combination. The interface circuit needs only a few devices

and a good resolution time can be obtained. The supervision program makes the instrument possessing some editing capability

carrying out the data acquisition under the pretime or preerror mode

displaying the data acquired and printing out the results. This kind of intelligent counter possesses the capability of on-line data processing

its ratio of performance to price is much better than ordinary scaler.
