随着射线应用技术的发展，世界各国已广泛应用辐射于加工工业，多数用于杀虫食品保藏。为对纺织工业的原料羊毛施行消毒灭菌，我国于1978年在陕西第一毛纺织厂建成

Co γ辐照装置，它可以对包装尺寸不超过100×80×50cm的羊毛或其它物品作不同剂量处理。建成后除服务于毛纺织工业外，对中药制品和食品辐射杀虫灭菌等处理，均收到预期的效果。年处理量约为3000T/10×10

Ci。本文对该装置的设计、性能和建设费用等作一概述和讨论。

Abstract

The

Co gamma-ray wool irradiation disintecfion facilities is described. It consists of a 150kCi plaque source

a storage pool and shielding

product handling areas

and a underslung conveyer system designed for either continuous or batch operation. The source intensity may eventually be increased to 500kCi. It was specially designed for irradiation steritization of wool packages with apparent density of 0.25 and the maximum overall size 100×80×50 cm. Other packed materials may also be irradiated with different doses accordingly. The ratio between the maximum and minimun doses is about 1.4. The annual capacity of treatment is about 3000T wool/100kCi
