Co γ辐射保藏粮食是世界上正在研究和推广应用的新技术

。从1976年以来，我们在专为辐射保藏粮食（中试）建造的5×10

Ci大型辐射装置（现已装源18×10

Ci）上，进行了3万多斤稻谷辐射杀虫的中试试验。辐射保藏粮食协作组还对辐射保藏粮食的贮藏效应、品质分析、卫生学检验等进行了大量的工作。

Abstract

This paper introduces a

Co radiation facility designed and built by our institute. It can provide the multipurpose utilization for the radiation treatment of grain. The radiation facility has been demonstrated a good ability for radiation preservation and storage of rice. And it is also very economical in the expenditure as compared with the preservatioh of grain by chemical fumigation and storage by packing in vacuum.
