The purpose of the present study was to observe the localization of

C-permethrin by means of freezing autoradiography.

C-permethrin was administered to rats via stomach tube. The dynamic distribution of radioactivity in cellular level showed that this drug was first accumulated in the hepatic cells and glomerulus of kidney

and then concentrated in fat cells.

C-permethrin could be excreted rapidly. It could be observed that after 24 hrs. the silver grains of cells autoradiography were markedly decreased. With the exception of fat cells where

C-permethrin was shown to be accumulated as amount of silver grains was increased

and then excreted gradually.
