表示输入信号按幅度分类的精细程度。分类的电压间隔大小称为道宽。间隔的最大数目称为道数。道宽实际上是相邻两道的道位置电压差。道宽的倒数（即每伏多少道）称为变换斜率。实测道宽和标称道宽是有所差异的。如512道分析器其标称道宽为16mV，则最大分析幅度为8.192V。
